The first paragraph of the Apostles' Creed dealt with God the Father and His creative work, the second with God the Son and His redemptive work and the third with God the Holy Spirit and His transforming work.

I. The Identity of the Spirit.

II. The Activity of the Spirit.

A. Towards the believer.
1. He is "parakletos."
