Ezekiel 37:1-14
Can God revive the believer and animate the moral corpse of the unbeliever? In other words, "Can these bones live?" Ezekiel had a vision and a mission that can be ours. What God is looking for is a "blessing bone." v. 3
I. The Bone Yard. Ezekiel 37:11
A. Depressed.
B. Dismayed.
C. Disconnected.
II. The Bone Maker. Ezekiel 37:10
A. The breath of life.
B. The wind of regeneration.
C. The tempest of the Holy Spirit.

Part 4: The Counselor

As Jesus outlined His expectations to His disciples they clearly needed a lot of help. So He promised to ask the Father to send them the Counselor, the "Parakletos" (which means literally "one called alongside") to help. We need Him, too.
I. Jesus' Expectations of the Disciples.
A. They were expected to be strong in troubling times. John 14:1
B. They were called to live out the life of faith. John 14:12
C. They were challenged to be lovingly obedient. John 14:15
D. They were commissioned to testify to Christ in a hateful world. John 15:15
E. They were privileged to live for the glory of God. John 16:14
II. Jesus' Explanation to the Disciples.
A. He talked about the identity of the Spirit.
1. He is the "Parakletos." John 14:15-26; 15:26-27; 16: 7-15.
2. He is the "Holy Spirit"-lit. "The Spirit, the Holy One." John 14:25
