Family of God (8 of 16)
Series: The Worth of a Christian

Ephesians 3:14-15
I want to speak today about the family of God. I want you to take your Bible and turn with me to Ephesians Chapter 3. By the way, I was just sitting here wondering how many of you were in the 8:30 service. Would you just lift your hands?
I want to see how many repeaters I've got. Okay? All right thank you. That's not too many, but I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you came to both. We have a wonderful crowd. We had 1,035 in Bible study I understand. Isn't that great?
I tell you, we are just marching on for the glory of God in Bible study. If you are not a part of Bible study, you ought to be a part of it at 9:40. It will strengthen your Christian life and be a part of one of these exciting Bible study groups that we have.
Before we read our text from Ephesians Chapter 3 Verses 14-15, let me share with you some things about my family. I have a very wonderful father, in fact, he is the wisest person who ever lived, the richest person who ever lived, a very extraordinary person.
And I have hundreds and thousands of brothers and sisters and they live all over the world and they are in every color and every age and every size and every shape and by now you have probably figured out that I'm not talking about an earthly family but a heavenly family, not a physical family but a spiritual family.
I'm talking about my part in the family of God and we have a wonderful time together in our family. We encourage each other and support each other and pray for each other and build up each other. We can always go to our all wise Father or our elder brother, the Lord Jesus Christ, for counsel and for help.
You know people get excited about going to family reunions and seeing all the relatives. I like to think that I go to a family reunion every Sunday, every Lord 's Day. I have my family reunion right here with God's people. I mean this is my family and I am proud ...
