The Greeks in Corinth knew about the temple of Aphrodite. The Jews were familiar with the temple of Solomon. But Paul had taught them about God's temple-the Church, and they had forgotten. So he reminded them.
I. God's Temple Defined.
A. A meeting place.
1. The God who meets with people.
a. His will. 1:1
b. His grace. 1:3
c. His faithfulness. 1:9

2. The people who meet with God.
a. Those who want to be washed. 6:9-11

Deception is an art as old as Eden. It's highly sophisticated use in the world of today is something that everyone must learn to combat. "Let no man deceive himself" (v.18).
I. Recognize the Power of Deceptive Forces.
