Churches, like houses, need a regular spring-cleaning. The time had come for the Corinthians. Paul used the analogy of the Feast of Passover to urge them to “purge out the leaven.”

I. The Historical Incident. Exodus 12:1-13

Separation of Church and State is a matter of some importance to many believers. But the separation of which Paul wrote was quite different-the separation of church and sin.
