In the same way that navigators constantly check their compass to make sure they are still on course, the church needs constant reminders of her mission to ensure she is following that set by her Lord. Another look at the Great Commission is in order.
I. All Authority Has Been Given to Christ. v. 18
A. The scope of this authority.
1. In heaven.
a. All heaven's resources are His.

2. On earth.
a. Authority to forgive sins.
