We all have our likes and dislikes, and there truly is no accounting for taste. But when our dislikes become discriminatory and prejudicial, they need correction. James is excruci¬atingly clear on this point.
I. A Powerful Exhortation. v. 1
A. An application of "Do what it says." 1:22
B. An assumption they are prone to discrimination.
C. An approach to those who "Hold the faith."
1. Lord-Lord of all-No discrimination.
2. Jesus-Died for all-No discrimination.
3. Christ-Came to all-No discrimination.
4. "Glorious"-Lit. "Of the glory"-He's the standard.
