Opinions differ concerning the church. But the person with the "renewed mind" sees it is the "body of Christ." But what does that mean?

Modern culture places great emphasis on "looking good" and "feeling good." Less concern is shown about "doing good" and "being good." In fact "do good ers" are often disliked and "being good" is sometimes dismissed as prudery. But Scripture says "Cling to what is good." But what is "the good" and how do we cling to it?
I. Clarifying "The Good."
A. Secular views.
1. It's all relative.
2. It's up to the individual.
3. It's what is best for the most people.
B. Scriptural view.
1. "Mere is none good but God." Mark 10:17-18
2. "God's will is - good, pleasing and perfect." Romans 12:2
3. "What I do is not the good." Romans 7:19
4. "Overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21
II. Choosing "The Good."
A. A matter of discernment. Romans 16:19
B. A matter of desire. Romans 7:18
C. A matter of decision. Romans 12:9
III. Clinging to "The Good."
