Introduction: The Lord desires to appear to you in a personal and powerful way. The Lord desires to give you a new dream of the heart, a dream that has the power to capture you, change you and keep you all the days of your life. We should all have a desire to do the will of God that will lead to great accomplishments and kingdom of God fruitfulness. God desires to open your heart to His intentions, purposes, designs, thoughts and dreams. Today is the day for the dream to capture the dreamer and inspire a life that crosses the finish line.
I. DREAMS
A. TYPES OF DREAMS
1. Natural dreams: a sleeper sees a connected series of images
2. Spiritual dreams: a sleeper receives communication to their spirit from the Holy Spirit
3. Vision dreams: A believer begins to see a vision that God is revealing to their heart. God uses a variety of means - prophecy, spiritual encounters, word from people, circumstances, prophetic dreams, visual experiences of a spiritual nature. Simply, you begin to "see."
a. To see is to have an experience that opens the heart to understand a dream or vision of your future.
b. To see is to begin to perceive the meaning or importance of the God-thought coming to your heart.
B. SCRIPTURES
Mark 8:22-25 Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything. And he looked up and said, "I see men like trees, walking." Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.
