Introduction: Vision is a biblical word. The spiritually healthy person or church must have a biblically accurate vision that they are continually progressing toward fulfilling. A participating member of a local church is a person of vision and is an important factor in fulfilling the vision. It is always healthy for an individual, family, or church to stop, evaluate, and understand where they are and where they are going. Why did God bring you here? To make us smaller or to make you larger in spirit? The leadership has responsibility to be the vision caster.

Leadership has two critical components: knowing where you are going and knowing who will go with you. The people willing to follow will face certain faith challenges and take certain risks. Peter Marshall once said, "Give us clear vision that we may know where to stand and what to stand for, because unless we stand for something, we shall fall for anything." We are who we are because of vision.

I. A CLEAR VISION

Acts 26:19 Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision.

A. PROVIDES THE CHURCH WITH CLEAR DIRECTION

1. Proverbs 20:18 (Swedish translation) Without a progressive vision, the people dwell carelessly.

B. ENABLES THE CHURCH TO MOVE TOGETHER IN UNITY OF MIND, SPIRIT, AND PURPOSE
