Introduction: Grace, amazing grace. We all need grace for life. Jesus is the grace-giver and the church is to be a grace-place. We serve up grace. Church, people, all of us need grace. Today we are talking about doing life with the church as a core to your life. Choosing a church is a very important and vital piece to living a full and purposeful life. Not all people have the same experiences in church and not all churches are the same. My heart is to help you discover, or rediscover, the great joy and amazing benefits of finding and connecting to a biblically-based church. For millions of Americans, church is a relic of past generations that is not relevant to their life and not on their top interest list. As one person put it, "Church as I know it usually leaves deep parts of me dormant, unawakened, and untouched. I don't much like church." I'm a believer in the church. It is God's leading edge of His work in our world, warts and all!

• REASON TO KEEP QUIET IN CHURCH: A mother was giving instructions to her three children as she sent them into Sunday school, "And, why is it necessary to be quiet in church?" Her son quickly responded, "Because people are sleeping!"
