Introduction: The word supernatural is not a word for just the super spiritual people who have the desire to see miracles. Supernatural is not just for the strong and radical believer who can almost walk on water and call fire down from heaven. The supernatural realm is the realm of God's grace and power that is available to all, to anyone, whether weak or strong. God desires to visit you with supernatural activities in your life now, today. The one word we will dig into and impart into every person is the word expectation. We all need a heavy dose of supernatural expectation.
I. DEVELOPING SUPERNATURAL EXPECTATION
A. SUPERNATURAL EXPECTATION
1. Expectation is to have a strong desire and be filled with anticipation and confidence in obtaining what is hoped for and expected.
2. Romans 15:13 So I pray that God, who gives you hope, will keep you happy and full of peace as you believe in him. May you overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
B. YOU ARE GOD'S FOCUS
1. "…now may the God of hope fill you…"
a. You - the one being addressed personally, by name
b. You - the one being singled out and valued
c. You - the one being looked into and over carefully
2. You are marked: Isaiah 41:9-10
3. You are special.
a. You are My servant
b. I have chosen you
c. I have not cast you away
d. I am with you
e. I will strengthen you
f. I will help you
g. I will uphold you
II. EXPECT GOD TO MOVE TOWARD YOU
A. EXPECT A GOD ENCOUNTER - GOD DESIRES TO VISIT YOU
1. The progression of God's movement:
