Jesus is alive, Amen? And Easter is the greatest event in the history of the world. God ultimately broke through into our world in a way that defies nature. It was a supernatural demonstration of unlimited power - unconditional love - undeserved grace. What couldn’t happen did happen for with God nothing is impossible. You see, God - God created boundaries and limits for us - for our protection - our comfort but God has no limits. God has no boundaries. With Him anything is possible. So God became flesh - why? To solve life’s greatest problem. What is that? Sin. I don’t know but I got feeling that some of you actually sinned Easter week. Some of you were bad on Good Friday. Sin runs in our family. I don’t know about yours. I married a sinner and then we had 2 sinnerlings - 2 sinners married and now we got 2 sinnerlings and then they married and now we have 6 grand sinnerlings - runs in our family. But Easter is about solving the sin problem because Christ came to the cross to take your place and my place and to pay the penalty for our past, present and future sins. God also became flesh to answer life’s greatest question that was in the Old Testament. Everybody asks this question. Every human being asks this question. If a person dies will he live again? Is there something beyond this life? You see the Resurrection declares there is something beyond the grave. We don’t what’s out there because we’ve never experienced it but we know WHO is out there. It’s Jesus Christ. And Jesus told us why He was leaving this earth and He told us that He’s coming back in John 14:2.
