He may come today. He may come before I finish this sermon. You say, "My soul, how long is this sermon?" But He might. You need to be ready. God has something special that He wants to do in your life and in my life and those watching by television. So let's pray and let's ask God to prepare our hearts to receive from Him.
"Lord, we thank You that You're coming again. We thank You, Lord, that You're the King, the mighty King of the whole universe. And that as the King, You became a man born in a barn, lived and walked the dusty roads, and suffered and bled and died for all of my sins and all of the sins of the world. You rose again from the dead. You ascended to heaven, and You're coming back. And, Lord, we praise You. And we are looking expectantly for that day. And, Lord, until that day, You've told us how to live, and Your Word has power, and You have a message for us. And, Lord, I pray that our hearts would be open and good soil to hear from You. We give You all the praise. Bind the evil one, Lord, who wants to snatch away the seed that's going to be sown, and break the chains of pride and the chains of the fear of men so, Lord, at the invitation time, that people would respond and come and receive You and get their lives right with You. For we pray in Jesus? name, amen."
