Psalm 95
How many in this room have gone to Texas AandM or like Texas AandM or any kind of Texas AandM fan? Okay quite a few. How many in this room have gone to Duke University? Anybody? You know in Texas we know about Aggie jokes, right? I mean if you go to AandM on campus at their co-op they have an Aggie joke in their bookstore. So, I mean, it's kind of okay. And I used to tell a lot of Aggie jokes until I came here. And man some of you don't like Aggie jokes. So I'm going to tell a Duke joke. Surely you know there's a big rivalry between North Carolina and Duke. And, surely, the North Carolina Tar Heels tell Duke jokes, so three Dukies, they're in the Fundamentals of Math class for the third year in a row. The teacher is sick of these guys being in there. She says to herself, I'm just going to ask them one question. I'm going to call each of them in the office. I'm going to ask them one question. If they get that question right, I'm passing them. I don't want to have them for a fourth year. So she calls the first Dukie in. She says, "Dukie, one question. You get it right, you pass fundamentals of math. What is 3x3?" He thought for a minute and said, "Thursday." She's, "Oh, on Thursday. "Oh I'm sorry, I can't pass you." She brings the second guy in. She goes, "Okay, Dukie, one question. You get it right, I pass you. What is 3x3?" He said, "150." She goes, "Oh can't pass you." So she brings the third guy in. She says, "Dukie, one question. You get it right, you pass. What is 3x3?" He said, "9." She said, "That's wonderful! That's great! That's amazing! You pass. How did you figure that out?" He said, "I took Thursday and divided it by 150" lots of confusion with those three guys.
We're starting a new series today called "The Heart of Worship." And we're going to be talking in our Bible study classes at 9:15 and in our service about this thing called worship. Did you know there ...
