How many people in here have ever gone on a diet? Can I see your hands? Diet, I hate going on diets. I think the first three letters pretty much sum it up, die! Just the word diet makes you hungry. I mean immediately if I say I am going on a diet I just feel like having a candy bar, there is just something about it. When Debbie and I first got married I was about 178 lbs. and every time we had a baby I would put on a few for support. I was supporting her. Now I am about 203 I need to lose a few maybe some of you need to lose a few. I heard about a guy, and he had really let himself go, he needed to lose more than 10 and he got on the scale, his wife was watching him, he got on the scale and he began to suck in his gut on the scale. And his wife said to him "Well does that really help?" He said "It sure does, it's the only way I can see the numbers." I want to talk to you today about seeing the numbers about seeing clearly about a right perspective and a correct vision of the most important thing, the most important subject in the universe, the most important subject in the universe, the most important person in the universe is God. And you and I need to have a proper vision and understanding we need to see clearly, who God really is. Let me ask you, what do you think of when you said this, "What comes into our minds when we think about God, is the most important thing about us." What comes into our minds when we think about God that's the most important thing about us? And I am convinced that so many people have such a polluted such a distorted such a perverted view of God. Most people in America especially we have created a god out of our own image out of our own likeness out our own desires; a god that we like that we can manipulate. It is not the true God it's not the God of the Bible we have lost sight of who He is and so we have created this other god. And people c ...
