Genesis 6:5-8:22

TEXT: Gen. 6:5-8:22

INTRO: Sin's nature is to ruin the family of man ... and the seeds of sin exist in all mankind! The world tends to believe Satan's lies about sin, which is "wrong is right, and right is wrong" ... it is thought strange to believe in sin these days or that sin is dangerous!

The world has come to view the concept of sin as a religious fanatic's obsession. Yet, in the end the world will come to understand just how deceiving sin is ... and how destructive it is to those who take it lightly now!

AS THEY BOTH SANK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE RIVER, THE TURTLE NOW RESIGNED TO HIS FATE EXCLAIMED, "DO YOU MIND IF I ASK YOU SOMETHING MR. SCORPION BEFORE WE BOTH PERISH?" THE SCORPION AGREED TO HEAR THE QUESTION. THE TURTLE THEN ASKED, "YOU SAID THERE WAS NO LOGIC IN STINGING ME IF I LET YOU RIDE ACROSS, SO THEN, WHY DID YOU DO IT?" THE SCORPION ANSWERED, "IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH LOGIC, IT'S JUST MY NATURE TO DO IT!" THIS IS TRUE WITH ANY DEALINGS WITH SATAN AND SIN … WE MIGHT BE TEMPTED TO THINK WE WON'T BE AFFECTED, BUT THAT IS THE NATURE OF SIN! ONLY THROUGH CHRIST CAN WE TRULY BE SAFE! - SOURCE UNKNOWN

Probably one of the great dangers of our time is to ...
