I Believe In The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ

The Bible teaches that there was a beginning of time. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth…" The Bible also teaches there will be an ending of time. It is called the Day of the Lord, the end of the age, the second coming, and judgment day.
There are many Bible prophesies that suggest there will be signs that happen before Jesus comes again. The Jews will be gathered to their homeland. This happened in 1948, the year I was born. The characteristic of the times will be like those in the days of Noah. Life was proceeding without any thought of God. There will be earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes, wars and rumors of wars.
Man is smart enough to split the atom but he is not good enough to be entrusted with it. There are enough nuclear weapons to obliterate the earth. There are terrorists out there who would do it if they ever got the chance.
-I read an interesting article this week about the asteroid belt between Jupiter and Mars. All the other planets are consistent in their distances from the other. However, there is room between Jupiter and Mars for a planet. A Russian scientist suggested there may have been a planet there with intelligent life that broke the nuclear code, pulled the trigger, and blew the planet into bits and pieces. That asteroid belt is what earth would look like if that line is ever crossed.
Jesus Christ had been resurrected for 40 days. He was standing on the Mount of Olives. He had comforted his disciples about the future. There were convinced He was alive. He had commissioned them to go into the world and preach the gospel.
I believe that God began history and will end history. I believe Jesus will come again.

"This same Jesus shall come again…" This doctrine is not an incidental part of the Bible; but a fundamental part of the Bible.
