We are going to continue to talk about the attributes of God or getting to know God. Now if you get to know a person, you have to get to know something about the person. And so to get to know God, you have to get to know about God, the things about God, that the bible reveals about

God. You cannot trust God unless you get to know God. You cannot get to God unless you come to know God through God's word and so you cannot love God unless you come to know Him. And to know Him is to love Him, so if you come to know God you can love Him. If you love

Him, you can trust Him and if you trust Him, you can have a happy and fulfilled life. You can find His purpose in your life and be fulfilled in your life if you know God.

But you know the scripture tells us that the one who comes to God must first of all believe that He is. Hebrews 11:6 says, "that we must believe that He is, that He is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." We have been talking about a Life God Rewards, but we must first

believe that He is, that He exists. A lot of people today do not believe that God exists. Psalm 90 is a great Psalm about the existence of God. It is the prayer, not of David, but a prayer of Moses. One of the oldest Psalms in scripture. I can imagine Moses, praying this prayer as he talks to the Lord

on the many times that Moses went away into the wilderness, into the mountains, by himself as he observed the handiwork of God. As he led the people of Israel, he goes away into a wilderness place and in verse 1,

"Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generation. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou has formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God." Maybe he is looking at horizon to horizon and he is saying ...
