In the areas of human experience, there are those occurrences that are common and universal to all people. No nation, no ethnic group and no individual person can go through life without experiencing some kind of hardship and suffering. While there are many categories of suffering, and even levels of suffering, most instances can be listed in three main categories, those of mental, physical and spiritual suffering.
