If you have your Bible turn to John chapter 7. Well I've enjoyed this series on revival. Amen? I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I've enjoyed preaching it. We come to the last message in this series, but I trust only the beginning of the revival that God is going to do in our church. Amen? I'm going to quote again II Chronicles 7:14 ''But if my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways.'' We've preached on all of that. Now, today I'm going to preach on this - ''Then will I hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land.''

What revival looks like in the Bible has always been compared to water, water coming to a thirsty land. We in this part of the country can relate to how precious, how life giving, how vital water really is. That's the way it was in the land of Jesus. Water was essential. Water was in short supply. Revival is like that. So, when there was an abundance of water, or a source of water that truly was a blessing from God. Now, in John 7 we're going to read beginning in verse 37. I want you to see what Jesus said. ''On the last day that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried saying, 'If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink. He that believeth on me as the Scripture says, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.' But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.'' Jesus said, ''If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink.'' This he said of the Holy Spirit.
