Intro: How can I know that I am for real, that I am truly a child of God, that I am one of Christ's sheep? What ever source of convincing you choose to use, whether it be a yard stick, a mirror, weights and measurements, the answer will only come from honesty with yourself and the examination of the Word of God. This world is made up of hell deserving sinners with no exception. The Bible states, "the wages of sin is death" and "all have sinned". We are all the fallen sons of the 1st man Adam. "Whereas, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned". The Bible also says, "That it is appointed unto man once to die, and after this the judgment". That brings us to three crucial, life and death, eternal questions that have to asked, and have to be asked and the answers received from the Word of God. They are:
1. What Is The Foundation, means, grounds, or basis upon which a Holy infinite God would accept a hell bound sinner, redeem them, washing them, and accepting them with favor now, and fullness later?
Answer: only one answer, only one place to find it, only one person who has it "By the righteousness of God's only begotten Son, who sacrificed Himself, and became the sin bearer on Calvary". This is the only channel through which God's mercy, forgiveness, and grace can be manifested to a hell deserving, unrighteous sinner.
