Intro: In the last message, we saw a portrait of the Potter's heart. How he saw the clay long before he ever sought the clay. We looked at his acclaim and his attributes, but this message will attempt to expound his actions. The Potter's heart is what he desires, but his hunt is what he does. Before there can ever be clay in the potter's hands, there must be clay in the potter's heart and hunt. The "seeker friendly" movement has chosen to overlook this in their vain religious agnosticism. Religion wants to reverse the order by teaching that one can come to God and seek God at any time. Jesus was quoted as saying that no man could come to Him, unless the Father draws him. In the Potter's hunt there are three beautiful processes. They are:
I. The Potter Coming To Where The Clay Is (His Personal Work)
The potter could have hired or designated someone else to make this dirty trip. Had this been one of today's dignitaries, be assured that they would never had gotten their hands dirty. Even some of today's preachers probably would have made many excuses why this trip was not their job. The potter could have just given directions to where the clay was and remained in his comfortable abode. But he didn't, because of his love for the clay and he personally goes to find the clay and free the clay. As we co ...
