A new preacher had just begun his sermon. He was a little nervous, and
about ten minutes into the message his mind went blank. He remembered
what they had taught him to do in the seminary in a situation like this—

repeat your last point. Often this would help you remember what was
coming next. So he thought he could give it a try. "Behold, I come quickly,"
he said. Still his mind was blank. He thought he would try it again. "Behold

I come quickly." He still was blank. He thought he would try it again,
"Behold I come quickly." Still nothing. He tried it one more time with such
force that he fell forward, knocking the pulpit to one side, tripping over a

Flowerpot, and falling into the lap of a little old lady in the front row. The
young preacher apologized and tried to explain what happened. "That's
Alright, young man," said the little old lady. "It was my fault. I should

have gotten out of the way. You told me three times that you were coming.
Well, the scripture tells us 3l8 times in the New Testament that Jesus Christ
is coming back to this earth. Jesus said, "I go to prepare a place for you, and

if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto my
self that where I am there you may be also." In Psalm 55 David is being
oppressed by his enemies. He is tired of the persecution and wickedness

that is all around him. His prayer to God is in verse 6 where he said, "Oh
that I had the wings of like a dove I would fly away an be at rest." Well one
day Jesus will come with the voice of the archangel and the trump of God
and we will fly away to be with Him for all eternity. I call this flight, "flight
