Ephesians 4:30-32; II Corinthians 2:10-11; Luke 6:31; Colossians 3:13; Mark 11:25; Philippians 4:13; Romans 12:18
Right there beside on the end of the row there is a little cup of rocks and I want you just to take that cup if it’s there beside you and pass it down and each of you take a rock. And I want you to hold that rock during the service which shows how much I trust you. We’re going to talk about breaking through in the area of forgiveness. Is there anyone that you haven’t forgiven? And you know if you can’t remember just ask the Holy Spirit to remind you. As I was preparing this message I thought to myself now is there someone I need to forgive, is there something I need to talk to God about. And immediately the Holy Spirit brought something to mind. So if you are not sure ask the Holy Spirit. But here’s some clues is there anyone that when you accidently meet them your insides change. Your stomach does cartwheels; your hands begin to moisten. Or let’s say you meet someone in the store in the grocery aisle and something tells you, you need to change aisle immediately. Or maybe you have a relative, a certain relative that wants to come to see you and you decide to plan a vacation that very week to leave town. Or maybe it’s your angel mother-in-law who is coming for a long visit. Angel referring to the fact that she is always up in the air harping about something. Is it someone that you refuse to speak to or associate with for whatever reason? Or someone in your past that has hurt you deeply and you’ve not been able to let it go. T he wound is still there and it’s never healed. So question, how much is that unforgiveness that you are carrying around on your heart costing you? How much is it costing you? If it negates the work of the cross. Do you know what it cost Jesus to make forgiveness available to you and me? All His tears, all His blood. ...
