I know there are those who never thought I would ever get through with the fruit of the spirit but I'm going to show that you are wrong because we are at the last one today and I've made it last because this is the one that I struggle with so much. It's called self-control. I have problem with desserts and chocolate. Where are all the amens coming from is that about me or have you got the same problem? Oh, same problem. I thought you had been watching me. Leigh and Shannon, Eddie's wife, and Terry Perdue are in North Carolina at a wedding and us guys stayed here. Of course they found time to do some shopping there also but when Leigh left there was not a lot of food in the house but she cooked a cobbler for the Ables and pie for somebody else and then she had small cobbler left and a pie left. And she left I don't know what Friday, Thursday. I have eaten the cobbler and the pie. Now I'm not a hog, I didn't eat either one of them at one time. I ate it a little piece at a time every time I walked by it. You see I can handle anything but temptation. I'm kind of sad now because I shouldn't have done any of that and to be honest I'm glad it's gone because I'm over that. If I don't see it I'm pretty good. But I know you don't have a problem with self-control but there is somebody here who does have. Successful people are self-controlled. If you are successful on your job in whatever occupation or calling that you have in life then you are a person of self-control. If you are successful spiritually you are a person of self-control.
