The Procrastinator
Series: Back to the Basics
Dr. Ernest L. Easley
Acts 24:1-6; 22-27

We've been learning this year from the book of Acts what's involved in our getting back to the basics of what it means to be a Christian and to be the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our getting back to the basics has led us to simplify our Sunday schedule the first of the year which I believe will strengthen our ministries and outreach.
We are currently renovating some existing Sunday School space for Adults and Students and a wonderful worship area that our students and Brazilians will use.
When the construction is complete and we receive a certificate of occupancy from the city .. we'll move into our new schedule:
9:30 a.m. Sunday School for everyone
11:00 a.m. Blended Worship in the WC.
Contemporary Worship in the MPB.
Brazilian Worship in the SWA.
Children's Worship in the CR.
When somebody comes onto our campus around 9:30 a.m. .. we'll have a Sunday School class for them. That's the hour that we all get into small groups for fellowship and discipleship.
And then when somebody comes onto our campus around 11:00 a.m. .. we'll have a Worship opportunity for them. That's the hour that we all experience worship and declaration of the Word of God. 9:30 a.m. Sunday School and 11:00 a.m. Worship.
You can anticipate these changes very soon. Please be listening for the announcement as we move forward in getting everyone on our campus into Sunday School and Worship week after week. Julie and I look forward to being in a Sunday School class too. I hope that you'll plan to join us.
Now as we conclude our study of the book of Acts .. we read in 28.31, "preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him." And if there was ever a time that the church of the Lo ...
