Missions Warm Up Day

We're asking God today for direction regarding how much He would have us give next Sunday to our World Mission Offering. Our goal this year is $400,000.00 ... the largest mission goal we have ever had in our 65 year history as a church!

Now I can hear somebody say, ''Pastor, what a fine time for us to have the largest mission goal in our 65 year history as a church! Haven't you heard? We're in a recession! Hey folks .. you may be planning to cut back in your Christmas spending this year .. but this is no time to consider cutting back in your Mission giving! And next Sunday when you come with your tithe in one hand and your mission offering in your other hand .. I'm praying that your gifts will be the largest missions offering that you ...
