There are many things that we buy that contain instructions on how to assemble the product or serve the purpose of showing us how to use what we purchased. Recently, I came across a list of actual instructions that came with certain products that you might find interesting.
On a Sears hairdryer were the instructions, ''Do not use while sleeping.'' How many of you do your hair while your sleeping?
On a bag of Fritos were the instructions, ''You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside.''
On some Swann frozen dinners were the instructions, ''Serving suggestion: Defrost.''
On a package of Marks and Spencer Bread Pudding were found the words, ''Product will be hot after heating.''
How about this one? On packaging for a Rowenta iron were the instructions ''Do not iron clothes on body.''
I like this one. On Boot's Children's cough medicine were the instructions, ''Do not drive car or operate machinery.'' I have always felt we could do a lot to reduce accidents if we kept 5-year-olds off fork lifts.
On Nytol sleep aid were the words, ''Warning: may cause drowsiness.''
On a Korean kitchen knife were the instructions, ''Warning: keep out of children.'' Not, keep out of reach of children, but ''keep out of children.''
Maybe the best one was the instructions found on a string of Christmas lights: ''For indoor or outdoor use only.''
On Sainsbury's peanuts were the words, ''Warning: contains nuts.''
