I want you to take your Bibles and turn to I Peter 4:7. We are going to study today "How To Live In The Last Days." What would happen if you or your loved ones were not ready and you were left behind when Jesus comes for the saints?

1 Peter 4:7-11 "But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen."

We are going to learn four or five things about how to live in the last days. Now he says here that it is the end of all things. And you say, Brother Stan how could it have been the end of all things when Peter wrote this, and two thousand years have past and things have not ended. Well, friend, in the Bible, the last days or the end times, is an expression that refers to the time when Jesus went back to heaven to be with the heavenly Father until the time when Jesus shall come again. All of those days are the last days because of the imminence of the second coming of Christ. Jesus can come back at any time from the time He went back to the Father until now. We don't know when He is coming, we are not members of a calendar committee, and we are members of the separation committee, amen? We don't know when Jesus is coming, He could have come during Peter's lifetime, so Peter had to admonish the church, and the end of all things is at hand.
