How many of you are kids or you known somebody who's got kids or you are a kid or you once were a kid? Let me see your hands. Well that's pretty much all of us. Those are the ones who need this series on parenting. A guy went into Circuit City and he said I want to buy that TV set. The guy said I can't sell it to you. He said what do you mean you can't sell that to me, you mean you can't sell it to me because I'm a redneck from South Louisiana? You're not going to sell it to me? No I'm not going to sell it to you. He said what if I'm from North Louisiana would you sell me a TV? Yeah. What if happened to be Spanish would you sell me a TV? Yeah. What if I happened to be black would you sell me a TV? Yeah. What if I happened to be a Baptist would you sell me a TV? Yeah. He said that's discrimination, that's not right. Why don't you sell me that TV? He said because that's a microwave.

Because if you have kids or you know somebody who has kids or if you are a kid or if you've once been a kid this is for you. God has something he wants to say to you. God has message, you know every time we open God's word the Holy Spirit takes that and applies it in areas we have a need. See that's why any time you come to church you come expecting to hear something from God. It doesn't matter what the title of the sermon is. It doesn't even matter what the text is. God has something for you and if you want what God has for you, guess what? You'll get it. So we're going to talk about parenting for these next four weeks. One parent said we've childproofed our hom ...
