Opening The Windows Of Heaven (4 of 7)
Summer of Miracles

I'm going to go through the scripture today and we are going to see several times when the windows of heaven opened and what God did when the windows of heaven were opened.
Matthew 3:13-17 -- "Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
(14) But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
(15) And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
(16) And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
(17) And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
From time to time in the scripture you will hear about how God opens the windows of heaven. You will even hear in Malachi 3, verses 10 and 11, that God opens the windows of heaven to rebuke Satan. There in in Malachi 3:10-12, we read that God says, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse and prove me now herewith says the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open unto you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing so great there will not be room enough to receive it."
God opens the windows of heaven to rebuke Satan, because He goes on to say, "...and I will rebuke the devourer for your sake." He talks about the crops and how the crops will not burn up and how the crops will bear fruit
and how God will abundantly bless them by rebuking Satan in their life.
I don't know about you, but I'd like to be a part of that promise. God gives us the portion there of the tithe. He said to bring the first tenth and give it unto Him. He gives the place of the tithe. He says to bring it into the storehouse. I believe the storehouse today is the New Testament church. In that day, the storehou ...
