We are continuing our series on Restoration. The Lord's in the restoration business. When people wander away from the Lord, the Lord is able to bring them back. God doesn't let His children wander on without knowing where they

are and knowing exactly what they need. When we stumble and when we fall, as we are all going to do, we have a Lord who wants to pick us up.

Today, I want to speak on "The Well Dressed Christian," or "Dressing For Success." Did you dress for success today? Did you dress for success when you came to church today? I'm not talking about the physical clothes that you have

on, because in our church you dress how you feel comfortable and what suits you and fits your life style. As long as you are decent, you're just fine. It doesn't make any different what you have on. Sometimes I think it would be good if we

outlawed ties. I really get tired of wearing a tie but it seems like that's the thing to do and I can't quite get out of the habit of doing it. However, I'm talking about your spiritual dress.

In Ephesians, chapter 4, the apostle Paul is talking about putting on our spiritual clothes. Look at what he says in verse 22. He says, "That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man." He's visualizing the Christian who is

wearing an old suit or a new suit. The old suit, (the old man) refers to the old nature. That's the old you before you got saved. That's the old person. He's saying to put off that suit and put on the new suit and the new suit of clothes is

representative of the new creature. When you became a Christian, you became a new creation in Christ.


Ephesians 4:22-"That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; (23) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind: (24) And that ye put on the new man, which after
