Ephesians 5:18

This morning, I'd like us to continue to look at
how God has really designed us
to be able to overcome defeats with victory,
and how we can beat discouragement with breakthroughs
through the power of the Holy Spirit
Who dwells in each and every Born-again believer!

what this spirit-filled life is really all about.
We can best understand this thing called ‘spirit-filled-life'
by examining several passages of the Bible.

That means then, that the "Spirit-Filled Life"
has something to do with the ‘changed life'
where we've become ‘alive to God' and dead to sin...
something had to have happened...
and it happened because of Jesus Christ in us...
A life that is ‘dead to sin'...pretty powerful, isn't it?
A Life NO longer controlled by Satan and sin.
Next, then, look at Matthew 18:18...
This passage helps us understand the Spirit-filled life
from the standpoint of the power and authority that Christ has...
which in turn helps us see just HOW much power of Christ is in us...
Jesus says, in Matthew 28:18 (NIV)... 18 "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
The power of Christ is all powerful...not just a drip...it's full...it's a dynamo...from the greek word, dunamas,
And when we couple in that the Christian has been given "FULLNESS" in Christ, as we read in Colossians 2:9-10 (NIV)...9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.
we then see that the power is not partial, nor sometimes,
