The majority of Christians do not know who they truly are in Christ. Today we will look at one idea which will bring us understanding of our position in Jesus Christ. Are you ready to have the Apostle Paul teach us- Are you ready to receive who you are in Christ- This is important and it will change how you walk, talk, and act from this point on. Come now let us reason together and let us discover who we are in Christ Jesus.

According to scripture we are, ''Adopted into the Royal Family of God,'' and I ask you to meditate on this for a moment. This is the reason for this sermon that you will accept your adoption into His royal family and all that it entails.

Let me start with a beautify story about a father who picked his daughter from a photograph and by his personal choice received his daughter of destiny. The man was given his daughter at the Airport. You might be thinking about this and say, ''Who picks up a daughter at an Airport.'' Well the man was about to import a little baby girl from Korea. Well this story is all about adoption. The man in our story-well, it is me!

My daughter of destiny, through adoption, is now 28 years old and going to have her first child. But let's go back to the beginning. The year was 1978 and I had gone to the Airport in Seattle Washington to pick up my new little baby girl. She was going to be my daughter by choice. I even saw a photograph of her before she was placed in my arms of love. The agency, which had this little girl, wanted to make sure I would take this little girl. Imagine, I was to be her father and I chose her she did not choose me. I had a chance to turn her away and she could have stayed in the foreign country in the orphanage. But I wanted her. So when it comes to adoption I know what I am talking about. In the gospel of John I want you to listen to these words spoken by Jesus: ''You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed ...
