I want to give you fair warning this morning that every person here is going to make a decision. Perhaps you say, "No, I will not make a decision." But I say you will.
You say, "Well, I won't decide." You just made a decision. You decided not to decide. But everybody will make a decision one way or another this morning.
You are going to come face to face with the Lord Jesus Christ and you are going to be asked either to make a decision for Him or reaffirm the decision you have already made.
One of my favorite songs goes like this:
Jesus is standing at your heart's door
Standing and knocking, He's knocked before
This is the question you face once more
What will you do with Jesus?
What will you do with Jesus
Neutral you cannot be
Some day your heart will be asking
What will He do with me?
A preacher was sharing the Gospel with a teenage girl and she was at the very point of making a decision for Jesus Christ, even so much that there were tears in her eyes...and yet she would not say an everlasting yes to Jesus Christ.
The preacher got up to go and he said, "Before I go, would you at least shake hands with me?" "Oh" she said, "Indeed I will," and he said, "Wonderful, if you'll take Christ and heaven, shake my right hand. If you'll take the devil and hell, shake my left hand."
She said, "What?" He said, "All I want you to do is shake hands with me, and if you will say yes to Christ I want you to take my right hand and if you say no to Christ, I want you to take my left hand."
She said, "I don't want to say YES or NO." He said you would shake my hand." You see the preacher was trying to make real to that young lady the truth that to not decide for Jesus is to decide against Jesus.
Jesus said, "He that is not with me is against me, and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."
