Ephesians 4:1-6

As you are turning to Ephesians 4 ... may I ask you a question: How many of you would say this morning, "Pastor, I long for and hunger to see God do a great work in us and through us." I'm talking about God doing such a work in us and through us that there is weeping over sin and a weeping over souls! I'm talking about a movement of God that would have only one explanation: God did it!
If you can say that and mean that .. would you please indicate it by raising your hand. You're saying that you hunger to see God do a great work in us and through us!
Thank you. You may put your hand down. Now let me ask you another question. How many of you would say, "Pastor, I am willing to do my part in being a part of that kind of movement of God among us." If you can say and mean that .. in a moment, I'm going to ask you to stand and remain standing.
By standing .. you're saying publicly that you're willing to do your part to be a part of a mighty movement of God among us. That where there is sin to confess .. that you'll confess it. Where there is sin to turn from .. that you'll turn from it.
That by standing .. you're saying to the people around you and to God Himself .. that you're willing to do your part in ushering in a mighty movement of God among us! Would you please stand.
Now if you cannot physically stand ... yet you would stand if you could .. then you can indicate that same desire by simply raising your hand. So by either standing or raising your hand .. your saying, "I am willing to do my part in being a part of a mighty movement of God among us."
Thank you for standing or raising your hand. Now you would you join me in prayer as I lead us in prayer. As I pray aloud .. would you repeat after me: "Dear Lord Jesus .. we love You. We hunger for You ... to do a great work in us and through us. We confess our sin to You (now as yo ...
