I love something that Ron Dunn said in one of his sermon: ''There's nothing wrong with you that a miracle wouldn't cure.'' What do we mean when we talk about a miracle? A miracle is something that only God can do. A miracle is that which is beyond mans ability to perform. Only God can get the credit for a miracle, for He is the only one who can perform a miracle.
It could be that some of you need a miracle. It could be you are facing a situation in which nothing less than a miracle is the answer. Maybe it is a miracle you need in your family. Do you have a child that is breaking your heart? I have seen the Lord reach children that some parents wondered if they would ever be reached. You say, ''It would be a miracle if they got saved.'' Yes, a miracle, but the Lord specializes in miracles.
Maybe it is a miracle you need in your marriage. If God doesn't intervene your marriage is gone. This week I thought about a couple in a former church I pastored. This young man got saved in one of the services and after the service he asked me to pray that God would bring his wife back home. He told me that he knew that he was the cause of her leaving, but he wanted to get her back.
I told him to go home and call her, tell her that he got saved and invite her to come to Church with him. The next service I looked out and his wife was sitting beside him. After the service he came up to me and asked if I would talk with his wife. As soon as we walked into my office she said, ''I want you to know right up front that the only reason I came with him tonight was because he begged me to com ...
