INTRO:
Proverbs 14:26 "In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and His children shall have a place of refuge."

(A) Times when we need a refuge .... a haven of safety!

(B) Things going on in our nation .... cause those of us who are committed Christians to want to find a refuge.


-- April 25, 1993 .... gay march on Washington ....
-- Sin -- so flagrantly on display .... so offensive.
-- Gay and lesbian marchers began to call for the presentation of Christians .... chanting: "Bring on the lions."
-- A black evangelist was attacked by a young, gay white man.
-- 3 men were seen whipping each other at the sado-masochistic / leather fetish conference -- one of many such conferences.
-- Hundreds of lesbians marched topless down Pennsylvania Avenue .... eventually reaching the White House where they broke into the chant: "Chelsea, Chelsea." (Sounds like Sodom and Gomorrah -- should wake Clinton up).
-- In the Navy Memorial Fountain, topless women embraced and men clad only in bikini briefs kissed and hugged .... Homosexual acts were performed in front of children.
-- All while the police stood there helpless -- they told bystanders they had orders not to arrest law violators.
-- Obscenities blared out via giant amplifiers, stunned hapless tourists.
