I. CHRIST POSSESSES THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD
A. Christ is Both Eternal and Self-Existent
Micah 5:2 (CSB) - Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are small among the clans of Judah; One will come from you to be ruler over Israel for Me. His origin is from antiquity, from eternity.

John 8:58 (CSB) - 58 Jesus said to them, " I assure you: Before Abraham was, I am."

B. Christ Is Immutable (Unchanging)
Hebrews 13:8 (CSB) - 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

C. Christ is Omnipresent
Matthew 18:20 - 20For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there among them."
(Matthew 28:20; John 14:23: Eph. 1:23)

D. Christ is Omniscient (All knowing)
John 2:24 – (CSB) - 24 Jesus, however, would not entrust Himself to them, since He knew them all

E. Christ Omnipotent (All powerful)
Matthew 28:18 (CSB) - 18 Then Jesus came near and said to them, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven
and on earth.

II. CHRIST ACCEPTED WORSHIP AS GOD, YET TAUGHT THAT ONLY GOD SHOULD BE WORSHIPPED.

A. Jesus Taught You Should Worship God Only
Matthew 4:10 - 10 Then Jesus told him, "Go away, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God,
and serve only Him. "

B. Jesus Himself Accepted Worship
Matthew 14:33 (CSB) - 33 Then those in the boat worshiped Him and said, "Truly You are the Son of God!"
(John 9:35-38; John 20:28; Ex. 34:13; Isa. 42:8)

III. CHRIST AND GOD ARE IDENTIFIED BY THE SAME NAMES

A. Christ and God Are Called Lord
1. In Matthew 4:10, God is called "Lord"
