INTRODUCTION:
1. In our lesson last week, we considered Paul's discussion concerning our earthly bodies. He refers to the believer's physical body as a house or a tabernacle. In light of his persecution and his physical suffering, he was looking forward to leaving his body behind and receiving the new body God had prepared for him: He states in (5:1), For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

They took the father and two sons outside and burned them alive.
Why were these believers willing to subject themselves to certain danger...they knew that there was the possibility of being persecuted and that they were endangering themselves; why did they continue the Bible studies? This is the subject of our lesson tonight. I would like to give you two things:
I. Our Motivation
II. Our Ministry
I. OUR MOTIVATION (VV. 14-17)
Note the very first part of (vs. 14a), "For The love of Christ constraineth us..." And keep in mind, Paul is not talking about his love for Christ, though he certainly loved the Lord; rather, he is talking about the love Christ has for us. That knowledge should cause us to do three things:
