Why Do We Worship Jesus? Because Only Jesus Is Worthy! (5 of 7)

Revelation 4:9-11
07-17-05
The challenge today is to be an active worshipper and not a spectator.
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
and have their being."

that worship can only be done in Spirit and in Truth;
and we also have seen that we're to worship Him
with all our hearts, with all our souls,
and with all our minds...worship is a complete giving...
it can't be part of a multitasking...
in other words, when we worship,
we need to put our minds, our souls, our hearts on Jesus...totally...
not daydreaming about where we'll go after church,
or what we'll eat...we need to give our all in our worship.
Our focus again, must be on Jesus, and Jesus alone.
Turning to Revelation today,
God reminded me that worship once again is all about Jesus,
because only Jesus is worthy of that Praise and honor.
IT's because because He is due all worth, we come to worship Him.
What does it mean to be worthy of worship?
First, it literally means that the one being worshipped is
totally WORTHY of that worshi ...
