Proverbs 10:22
There is nothing like the blessing of the Lord!
Listen to what the writer of Proverbs has to say in Prov 10:22 NLT
22 The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.
Say it together with me!
There is no bitter aftertaste!
There is no bad hang over!
There are no fines to pay!
There are no regrets!
Most people really don't know how to live.
They simply exist.
Or they vegetate. Or endure.
They float through life never really learning how to live. I think it's for that reason Jesus said in John 10:10 ''I have come that you might have life, and have it to the fullest.''
Jesus did not say,
''I have come that you might have religion'' or
''I have come that you might have rules'' or
''I have come that you might have regulations''.
He said, ''I've come that you might have LIFE and have it to the fullest.''
The Life that God wants us to have is a life that is filled with blessings.
He is a good God and desire only blessings and goodness for His children.
James 1:17 MSG
17 Every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of Light. There is nothing deceitful in God, nothing two-faced, nothing fickle.
God's Word is filled with promises of Blessings.
From the very act of creation God gave blessings.
Gen 1:27-28 NLT
So God created people in his own image; God patterned them after himself;
male and female he created them. God blessed them...
God promised blessings to Abraham his child in Gen 22:15-18 NLT
15 Then the angel of the LORD called again to Abraham from heaven, 16 ''This is what the LORD says: Because you have obeyed me and have not withheld even your beloved son, I swear by my own self that 17 I will bless you richly.
After the death of Abraham the blessing of the Lord continued in Abraham's son!
Gen 25:11 NLT
