It is a joy to be able to be a part of this service today. And I am honored to be able to say a few words today about her and how much I loved her. And how much I personally enjoyed the privilege of being her pastor for these nearly 23 years. And how much I am going to miss her, miss her vivacious personality in the hallway of our church and in the foyer. She always wanted to stop and visit after the services and talk with me and fellowship. And that is just the kind of person she was. She always had a smile on her face. And she always enjoyed serving the Lord, worshipping the Lord, and living for the Lord.

And I want to share some things today that you already know about her I am sure. But she was a person of great faith. She came to know Christ as her personal Savior at an early age in her life. Later on in her life, I remember a time when she reaffirmed that faith in Christ. She was not ashamed of the Lord Jesus. She wanted to be assured above all things that Christ was first in her life.

And I remember her coming to me and visiting with me about her faith in the Lord. And there is absolutely no doubt in my mind, in my heart as I visited with her in that certain time of remembering her making that commitment sure that she had made to Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior and her Lord. And today we know because of that that she is in heaven. She has made it there ahead of us. She is in that place not made with hands.

She was one of those who lived life to the fullest. That may be possible for some of us to understand and maybe not every one understands that because she was one of those people who in many ways had a lot of physical handicaps in her life. You may know of some of those handicaps. I know I see some of you who taught her in Sunday School, some of you who had her in the youth group, many of you who have known her family for many years.
