1. INTRODUCTION
a. More than 2,000 years old and more than 2,000 miles in length the Great Wall of China is one of the wonders of the world. There is a fascination with it. According to Trivial Pursuit, it is the only man-made structure visible from outer space.
b. Some have even claimed that the Great Wall is visible from the moon with the naked eye. Apparently, that's urban legend. It's not true. Even the continents are difficult to distinguish from the moon.
c. Trivial Pursuit is half right. The Great Wall is visible from a low orbit, but so are other man-made objects.
d. But let here's something even more remarkable. It is even more remarkable than a wall visible from outer space. Or from the moon. Here in Nehemiah 3 we have a wall that is visible from heaven! In fact, the workers laboring on the wall are seen in heaven and their names recorded for posterity!
e. Not only are their names recorded, there are some valuable life lessons recorded for our benefit.

2. The Leaders of the work
a. Their pattern
i. I appreciate our staff. Go to the farthest parking spots over at the Vo-Tech and there you'll find the staff cars lined up.
ii. Come at 6:45 AM and you'll find the staff here on their knees praying that God will give us a great day.
iii. I know that preachers can be lazy. But in this church they are not.
iv. I can inspire but unless we perspire, we won't do much for God!
