Today we begin a brand new series of messages about "Dreams And Destinies". God has a dream and a destiny for your life, just as He has a dream and a destiny for this church. And the foundation of the Dream is important. Whenever you build, you want to lay the correct foundation. And this morning we are going to talk about "The Foundation Of The Dream".

Before a vision can become reality, before a dream can be realized there has to be a foundation laid. And the foundation of the dream is putting God first in your life. When you learn to put God first in your life, then you are on your way to realizing all that you can possibly be in your life.

Paul Harvey told the story about the Butter Ball Turkey Company. We are coming up to Thanksgiving time and there is the Butter Ball Turkey Company and they do Butter Ball turkeys and they are suppose to be very juicy, tender turkeys. I am sure many of you have eaten the Butter Ball turkey. One lady had a Butter Ball turkey in her freezer for 23 years. And Paul Harvey said this lady called the company and asked the people at the Butter Ball Turkey Company if this turkey would still be all right to eat for Thanksgiving after it had been in her freezer for 23 years. They wrote back to her and they said, ma'am we think it would probably be all right if your freezer has been cold enough for 23 years, but we wouldn't recommend that you eat it because all though it might not make you sick, it probably lost a great deal of its flavor in that length of time. And she said, oh, well that is what I thought so I have already given it to the church!

Isaiah tells a story like that in the prophecy. He tells about a man who goes into the woods and chops down a tree. And with the tree he builds a little hut to shelter himself. And with part of the tree he builds a fire to warm himself. And with part of the tree he builds ...
