Introduction: Life is a lot like a coin. You can spend it any way you wish, but you can only spend it once.

Choosing one thing over all the rest through your life is a difficult thing to do.

Life places before us, hundreds of possibilities, but each of us must decide what priority takes first place in my life.

Everybody has a God!
Something will occupy that first place in your life!
Even God realized this nature of man when He laid down the first commandment.

Exodus20:3
''You shall have no other gods before me.''

Keeping God first is the First Law of a Successful life!

Why?
He is the source of life!
He is the provider of food!
He is the overseer of promotions!
He is the giver of wealth and prosperity!
Deut 8:18
''...for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth,...''(KJV)

He is the provider of safety and protection!
He is the source of health!
The Apostle Paul declared there is nothing apart from Him!
Acts 17:28
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being;..''(KJV)

Keeping God first is the First Law of a Successful life!

Jesus is the example of a man keeping God First. He Teaches about it!

Jesus gave us the top priority in Matthew 6:33.
He said ''But seek first His kingdom and righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.''

Before going any further, let's take a look for a second at this command.
The Greek word seek means ''To search, to strive for, to strongly desire''.
The action is continuous.
1. Keep on striving for
2. Keep on search after
3. Keep on desiring

Every decision I make ought to filtered through, Matthew 6:33.
1. Where I put my money.
2. Where and how I spend my time.
3. What I buy
4. What I sell
5. What I give away

The filter of Matthew 6:33 helps me to conduct myself in terms of this top priority.
1. Should I do this?
2. Is it for God's kingdom?
3. Is it for His righteousness?
4. Should I respond this way?
5. ...
