John 1:12 & 13

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

Introduction:
Empowerment is a buzz word of the 90's.
Especially in the business arena.
Many companies talk about it but don't really do it.

Definition: "To invest with legal power, to authorize"

Practical Application: Define, Train, Authorize, Release--Ownership

He commissioned us!

Matthew 24:14
"And this Gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations, and then the end will come"
He trusts us!
He commissioned us!
He has empowered us!
