There is a new mania spreading across America today: Millionaire Mania! Three nights a week .. thousands of people gather in front of their Television sets to see if a contestant can correctly answer 15 multiple choice questions in their attempt to win a million dollars. In the process of answering the questions .. each contestant is given 3 life-lines. Number One .. they can call a friend to see if they know the correct answer. Number Two .. they can ask for audience assistance. Number three .. from the four multiple choice options .. they can have two of the wrong answers removed. As each question is answered .. the host of the program asks, "Is that your final answer?" And if it is .. they cannot change their mind!
All around this world .. people are looking for peace and joy. Their looking for purpose in life. Their looking for the answer to their sin problem! And may I tell you this Easter Sunday morning that the Lord Jesus Christ is God's Final Answer to your sin problem! But not only is Jesus God's Final Answer to your sin problem .. Jesus is God's Only Answer! Jesus is not a way to Heaven .. Jesus is the way to Heaven. Jesus is God's Final and Only Answer to your sin problem! Jesus said in John 14.6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Now on the show "Who wants to be a Millionaire" .. the host provides one of three life-lines. But God on the other hand provides three in one life-lines: God the Father .. God the Son .. and God the Holy Spirit.
God the Holy Spirit prompts you to salvation. God the Son purchased your salvation. God the Father provides your salvation.
And it all hinges on the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
