We are going to be talking about "Timely Answers To Key Questions". It is amazing but when you look at what is happening on the current political scene today and you look at what is happening in your own personal life and you look at what is happening in the world spiritually, you can go back two thousand years to the time when Jesus walked on the face of this earth and they were facing similar circumstances. There is a program on the cable network on MSNBC called "Time and Again". And they bring back old news stories from history, from the time when television first began. And as you listen to those stories recounted today and compare it to what we see today you will see a lot of similarities.

So two thousand years ago Jesus gave some unchanging truths, some unchanging principles that apply to our life today. And these are stories and principles found only in the gospel according to Luke. So we are going to turn today to Luke 15:11-14 and look at the subject of "How Does God Feel About People Who Mess Up?". All of us can see that we live in an imperfect world, we have an imperfect government, we have an imperfect church because it is made of imperfect people, and we have an imperfect educational system, an imperfect medical system. I don't know where all of you work, but I would say that your business is imperfect. It may be a very fine business but it is not perfect. And the point is the Bible says, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." And God is able to hate sin and still love sinners. And where would if God were not able to do that? And so as we look at how does God feel about people who mess up, we have to include our selves. I have to include my self in that because not only do I make mistakes but also I commit sins and come short of the glory of God.
